A Day at the Lake

I guess it wasn't really a lake...but we went to Jensen's Grove with my sister and her family on Saturday afternoon because it was so warm and sunny. We packed a lunch and ended up having a lot of fun. It was nice because Ife wasn't working and it was a fun family day. Saki absolutely loved playing in the sand. I didn't think that he would go in the water because it was pretty cold, but he loved it. Whenever the little waves came in from the boats, he wasn't quite sure what to do. He kept picking up the rocks and then turning to show us what he found.

Here's Saki with two of his cousins - Madison and Regan.

It didn't take long before I had to put a hat and t-shirt on Saki. It was 90 degrees. I always worry about him burning because he is so fair. After a while he decided the water was too cold and thought it was better to sit on Madison's lap so he wouldn't keep getting hit by the waves. Here is Saki with daddy. He did pretty good not eating the sand until Ife started burying him in it. Cute little toes.
